Sexy Seductive Cat Eyes

Cats say "meow", but with this statement you'll "roar!" Hehe... corny, I know.

1) Gently pull your lid upward so you can see its inner rim. Line the rim with a few coats of jet-black waterproof pencil. Then line the inner rim of your lower lash line.

2) Next, use the same pencil to line the skin directly above your upper lash line. Blend color into lashes with an angled brush.

3) Layering liquid liner over pencil is the key to a stay-put look—the liquid dries and locks down the first layer of color. With a black liquid-liner pen, make four evenly spaced dashes over the pencil line, then connect them.
4) Now it's time to create the winged-out edge. Close your eye, and trace a finger along your upper lid’s crease, moving outward. When it meets the bony part of your eye, mark the spot with a dot of liquid liner.
5) Place the tip of the liquid-liner pen on the dot, and drag it to the outer corner of your eye, thickening the line as you go.
6) Once the liner has dried, dab your lid with a cream colored liquid shadow, then place a metallic version on the area just above your crease line and inner corner. Like creams, liquids catch light but stand up better to the heat. Finish with two coats of black mascara.
Like I said: sexy and seductive.

Jennifer Aniston's Classic

Everyone has that one celebrity they think is perfect. I looovvveee Aniston's clean, chic, and classic look. Here's a basic how to for stealing this timeless look from Jennifer.

1) Use a damp makeup sponge to apply a lightweight dewy foundation. Using a damp sponge will avoid and reduce seam lines in your makeup.

2) Swipe a thin even amount of cream blush on your cheeks. Pick a tint suited to your skin tone and concealer that has a hint of bronze. Start with the apples of your cheeks and draw it into your temples. One or two strokes should be enough. Blend in with clean fingers to avoid any streaks or blots.

3) Apply a black cream or liquid liner along your upper lashes in a straight line. Try scooting your way outwards to avoid any gaps. A straight second coat in a single stroke will cover any errors.

4) Falsies. Everyday use of falsies isn't the greatest idea but for special occasions place them on. Trim the lash strip to the length of your eye. Apply a thin layer of lash glue and let it sit for 10-30 seconds before placing on your eyes. This will avoid runny glue and blots. After a few minutes apply mascara in one or two coats to bring your falsies and real lashes into one. Continue with the rest of your makeup while you wait for them to dry.

5) Lips are a necessity. You need them to talk, to eat, to hide your pearly whites, and for that lovely kiss. Making them perfect is also a necessity. Draw a thin line of lip liner in a matching shade or even a darker shade along your lips. The two arcs of your top lip can be accentuated by a thin second layer. Next dab a clear gloss to the center of your lips only. Rub your lips slightly together to spread. This will give a full and natural look to your mouth.

Congrats! You've got that natural and sexy Aniston look down!

Prepare Before Applying

Okay, so basically every morning we wake up both looking and feeling like crap. If you somehow don't... I envy you. Anyways, like most of us you may have a busy schedule be it work or kids. Looking great and feeling great will help you jump start your day. So here's a basic 5-step plan to ready your face for any makeup application. This method will clean off any dirt and grime that may have gathered while you slept and will also reduce the amount of bacteria on your skin.

1) Wash your face with an acne cleanser.  Try a cleanser with the bursting beads. A common and affordable brand is Clean & Clear Morning GlowRub it thoroughly and use an exfoliating scrub brush or pad if you like. Let it stay for whatever time is recommended, or at least two minutes, then rinse off with cold water.

2) Pat your face dry with a clean towel. I recommend having a separate washcloth just for this.

3) Apply a moisturizer with SPF. This is an alternative to primer. Primer will often cause your skin to darken and can also collect dirt. Moisturizers soak into your skin and the SPF will be there all day to protect you.

4) Apply a concealer. Don't overuse your concealer! Only apply where needed and only in needed amounts. Waking up in the morning... or afternoon means dark circles. Go ahead and apply a concealer stick under your eyes. Blot any scars or acne marks you want to cover up. Make sure you have clean hands before applying. Use a makeup sponge to apply or a stick. If you're using a stick make sure to clean before and after use.

5) Brush over some powder. Take a makeup brush and evenly sweep a pressed powder over your face. If you aren't a fan of pressed powder opt out for baby powder. It will help absorb oils and sweat and will give your skin a fresh look.

Great! Now go ahead and start your makeup as you like!
